On a rainy day

Gone are the days when we used to get fried/deep fried like a french fries under the hot sun! (I guess I am hungry now! πŸ˜‰ )
Its raining! Raining now!! Hurrah!!! πŸ™‚

The word ‘Rain’ brings in me a nostalgia of my long gone child hood.

But, it seems most people are confined and comfortably settled in the fact that when they are old enough, they are forbidden to enjoy these!!

The inspiration for this blog came on a day when there was a huge downpour. I happened to walk down the road, where I saw a group of kids who were making paper boats and playing in the water. There were not many people on the road and then I saw a White Honda civic rushing with its full speed with a guy who is siting inside and looked as though his head is completely embedded (Oh! techie me!! πŸ˜€ ) inside his latop!

I was just wondering if his schedule had not even let him think that there is something else in the world other than his latop.

This kept me reminding of the days, when

~I used to pray to get a side seat when I travel in the train/bus.
~The adrenaline rush we get when riding a two wheeler when its raining.
~The chillness and numbness that pierces your skin and pokes your heart.
~The forceful chill air that slaps on your face when you look through a window of a car.
~Getting happily drenched(very carefully thou), while coming back from school, so that we can fall sick.
~Moving forth the branches of the trees after it had stopped raining.
~Eating spicy tinted mangoes in the beach.
~A cup of hot and steaming coffee.
~A long walk on a misty evening, wishing that the road never ends.

And at last,
Cuddling under the quilt and wishing that the sun should never rise.

Just a thought of this had made me go fresh and live (mentally as well as on net!! πŸ™‚ )
Isn’t this necessary for us to let go ourselves (may be atleast once in a while) and look the world in a child’s eyes and enjoy the world with a pure heart!
After all, life is small.
So, stop thinking too much and enjoy your life!! πŸ™‚
